Despite weather predictions members and visitors attended our October meeting to hear Andrew Turner’s talk entitled “There’s an awful lot of Coffee in Brazil” – who ever would have thought so much went on to enable us to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee, including a field trip to Brazil, and coffee in lots of flavours to taste. Some of us were reminded of the “daring” coffee bar days when choices were Espresso, black or white!
President Carol appealed for new committee members. The Betty Jones cup was won by Mary Holden with a family fashion photograph dated 1895.
The speaker at our Annual Meeting in November is Martin Woods “Haunted Shrewsbury” – whooo!!
