As there is no official meeting in August Albric decided to hold a social evening which was held at the Moat Trust. The weather was lovely and it was a treat to stroll through the beautiful grounds and admire the planting and water features. The Moat management have somehow kept it all in pristine condition during these past difficult months. Along with most other charities The Moat has seen its funding drop dramatically and with many of their volunteers unable to help it is a great credit to all concerned. Albric members enjoyed coffee and cake and lots of chat, a lovely evening. Our programme for the coming months is being finalised and we are planning to include information on climate change, waste and our environment, all subjects very much to the forefront of all our lives now and in the future. Meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm in The Red House. The September meeting is on the 14th. Come along and see what we are about.
