We unfortunately had to cancel the planned picnic in August due to the terrible weather, also our planned trip to Portmeirion was pulled because of the demise of Elcock Coaches.

Certainly not our month!!!!!

Still our new autumn programme began when we celebrated our 56th birthday meeting in The Church Centre, where we looked back fondly at photographs of the first birthday meeting.  Food was in abundance at our ‘bring and share’ evening in true WI style, the wine also flowed well.  We were entertained by Gabriela Foley (whose comedy was very Victoria Wood in style), needless to say she had us laughing with her songs and anecdotes.
