In November we held an Art Workshop with Claire Stack, who gave a short talk about Cubism and Picasso. Members were shown how to create a Picasso like picture.  A very enjoyable and sociable time with some excellent results, we certainly seem to have a number of budding artists. Tasty cake and a refreshing cup of tea rounded off a good evening.  Some members also enjoyed a lunch at David Austin Roses restaurant during the month.

Plans are underway for our Cake and Craft Stall at The Christmas Light Switch-on Event in The Red House on Thursday 28th November.

We will be holding our Christmas Meal at The Shrewsbury Arms in December and our meeting on Tuesday 10th is entitled “Albric’s Got Talent”, when we will be showcasing what talented ladies we have by putting on our ‘own show’.  This will be followed by a fish and chip supper.  Visitors are welcome, but please contact me if you want fish and chips!
