One of our members, Dr Deidre Holes, has been busy during the lockdown period and has sent us some photos.
She has been sewing for NHS Shropshire Group and has produced scrubs, gowns, masks and hats. She said “My husband had to model the scrubs as the sizes I was asked to make would have drowned me!”
She has also been busy in the garden and making craft items, while waiting for the next stash of material to arrive for the NHS Sewing.
She also joined several cooking demonstrations laid on by Denman through Zoom meetings. She said “Everything I cooked alongside the tutors was delicious” and it certainly looks it!
If you have any photos or anecdotes from lockdown and would like to share them, then get in touch with the committee members or through the contact page and we may feature them on the website.
