Our birthday meeting, in September, was something of a change – we had a Film Night together with a bag of goodies and a glass of wine. It was our 57th birthday and we are very fortunate to have an original member still joining us on a regular basis – Everlyn Wellsman. Frank Aston kindly agreed to be our projectionist for the evening and we all enjoyed his choice of film ‘Hairspray’. It was a feel good film and members all went away feeling uplifted. Our outing this month to The Black Country Museum which is always popular.
In October we will be welcoming Graham Short who is a micro artist, and his skill involves creating miniature paintings, engravings, sculptures etc.
