September is our anniversary month and at the September meeting we celebrated 54 years of Albric WI.  As a celebration should be it was a very relaxed evening with food and wine and brain teasing quizzes.  It is amazing how often you know the answer but just can’t think of it!

After a social evening at the Moat in August and our Birthday night party it is now time to get down to more serious pursuits. We have a loose environmental theme planned for the coming months starting in October with Dr Anne Woolridge talking about Waste Management; she assures me it can be fun! Then in November we are holding a photographic competition with our local environment as the theme.  More details about our programme for the coming months can be seen on our web site so have a look and then come along to a meeting at The Red House on the second Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm.
