This month was our Annual General Meeting, which was a successful event, with seven visitors attending, who I hope will decide to become members. All the committee officers agreed to sit for another year and we welcomed two new members to our committee. Our financial situation is stable, due to fund raising events held last summer.

A general knowledge quiz caused much heated debate and discussion was held on how the WI can move forward encouraging younger members and new-comers to the village to join. Our programme for 2023/24 is nearing completion and with social events also planned it is hoped we again have an interesting year ahead.
