Our speaker for July cancelled at short notice, but we were very fortunate enough to secure the services of Debbie Gatehouse from ‘Practical Style’ who gave a most interesting talk on Colours, which colours suited us and which to avoid. We all had a fun evening and Nicki was a most entertaining volunteer/guinea pig.

Our coach trip in July to Biddulph Gardens was a great success and the weather was kind to us.

We had a very successful day at Albrighton Fayre and as you all know it was very hot – but we sold all our cakes. Thanks to everyone for supporting our stall.

During August our supper club had a lovely evening at Radici’s in Shifnal and I’m sure we will be returning for their lovely food soon.

Our September meeting is our birthday night and we look forward to a ‘Bring and Share Supper’ and a game of bingo – accompanied by a glass of something.
